Tata Motor’s brings out the new Tata Manza Aura (ABS) Quadrajet BS IV, Built on J300 platform, to capture the C segment cars in the Indian Markets. It also makes use of the body of its other model, the Indica Vista.

Tata did not have to struggle much to take CS to the hearts of the people. Available in petrol and diesel variants, and the rates too that is not a burden for the common man, gives you the lavishness of a luxury vehicle. The performance of this compact vehicle is par excellence.

The positive factors of this vehicle, as mentioned by those who own one are excellent leg room, spacious interior and dashboard, power steering, good AC effects, great fuel economy and above all great pricing. Yes, a compact sedan at the price of a hatchback, this vehicle is still moving like hot cakes in the market. Here I am and will be talking only about Tata Indigo CS LX (TDI) model. Decisions have yet to be made on the DiCOR model as there is some chaos concerning it.

Technical Details
The fuel capacity of the Indigo CS LX From Tata being 42 litres, Tata promises good fuel performance with good mileage. The TDI engine promises good performance. The engine type is Direct Injection Common Rail, 16-valve DOHC. It has a maximum output of 70 PS @ 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 140 Nm @ 1800-3000 rpm.

The Ventilated Disc front brakes and the Drum rear brakes offer the best braking systems. The Vacuum assisted dual circuit, diagonal split hydraulic brakes through tandem master cylinder makes it perfect.  With a steering of Rack and pinion type with collapsible steering column and a turning radius of 5.0 m, you will simply love its performance. It has 5 forward and 1 reverse gear. It also has Independent Mc Pherson strut with anti-roll bar front suspension and Independent 3-link Mc Pherson strut with anti-roll bar rear suspension.

This vehicle with 5 persons seating capacity has a gross weight of 1510 kg and a kerb weight of 1065 kg. Trunk capacity of the vehicle is 380 litres. Above all, it has radial tube tyres of size 165/65 R14.
