The Indian operations of the bike manufacturer, Ducati comes out with its most reasonable Monster model, the M795 at the Auto Expo conducted at the pragriti maidan, in New Delhi.
The bike was unveiled at the Auto Expo by the CEO of the Ducati Asia Pacific, Mirko Bordiga and the CEO of Ducati India, Ashish Chordia.
Having an ex-showroom price of about 6, 99 lakh rupees, this base model of the Ducati is reported to cater especially to the Asian market.
This bike is expected to reach its customers by the initial week of this March.
This recently launched Monster model sports an 803cc engine generating 64kW power and 78Nm torque. It also features a 6 speed gear box.
Other features included are the digital unit with the speedometer, warning oil temperature, trip fuel, and a warning light for low oil pressure as well as the immobilizer.
At the same time, it will have some modifications done on its curves and the size, thus meeting with the expected low price. The one-sided swing-arm unit featured on its 796 model will also change, thus featuring a two- sided swing arm unit.
In the meantime, Ducati India is also looking to introduce 13 additional models in the country. It also has plans to boost up its sales, with the launch of this M795 model.
